The Herb Garden has changed ownership over the years. But each time it was sold, it was always operated with love as a small family run seasonal business. Despite changing and challenging times, it has managed to endure 30 years of business.
With its start in the early 90s, the Herb Garden continues to sell potted herbs, operate a gift shop, and host weddings – some may consider it one of Ottawa’s ORIGINAL barn wedding venues. Through the decades the business has managed to remain charming and quaint, with a familiar feeling. It welcomes you home each season, and is just the same as you remember it.
As the current owners for the last few years, I believe the secret in its longevity is embracing the natural, rustic and historic charm of the property. We strive to grow our business with hard work, honesty, integrity and respect for the beauty of things past and hand crafted with care and love.
